Job Description:

Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS), a national non-governmental development organization, is seeking a competent and motivated Accounts & Admin Officer to support its financial and administrative operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational policies, and overseeing day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth project implementation. The position requires attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain day to day cash & bank transaction with due approval of the higher authority including drawing and disbursement of staff’s salary and wages and other expenses for Project;
  2. Handle receipt and payments bills/vouchers properly and ensure that final payments are made only with due approval;
  3. Maintain item-wise of component wise expenditure in line with the project-wise approval budgetary heads;
  4. Ensure all accounts, cash book, ledgers, all kinds of register (like: attendance, movement, assets, leave, cheque, log book, etc.) and reporting systems;
  5. Coordinate to preparation and dissemination of monthly financial reports, monthly receipt and payments reports and develop and prepare other reports as requested by the donor and other related desk;
  6. Make constant and regular follow-up on the timely deposit of collected funds of project/ program to the respective Bank accounts;
  7. Ensure that effective financial systems, processes and monitoring arrangements are in place, both on a general financial level and on specific ones required to monitor individual branch;
  8. Prepare monthly/annual budgeting and cash flow for the project / program;
  9. Ensure strictly follow up of approval project / program budget and cash flow by the project accounts and make remedial measure for any mistake they make;
  10. Prepare and ensure the submission of monthly accounts statement for all individual projects and program;
  11. Supervise all financial transactions and reports, ensuring financial procedures are followed and that all financial administration has the correct approvals;
  12. Ensure preparing and submission of particular financial/accounts reports to the donor agency in time;
  13. Prepare and submission of periodical reporting along with annual audit of the project;
  14. Maintains all office files and record and keeps update for Project office;
  15. Update inventory of fixed assets with changes or additions; put/tag number to the new asset items;
  16. Conduct annual physical verification of fixed asset/equipment, supplies and materials;
  17. Ensure VAT & Taxation as per Government Rules and deposit properly.

  19. Regular user of Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality.
  20. The incumbent is expected to have excellent fluency in written and oral communication skills both Bangla and English.
  21. If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.


Academic Qualifications:
  • Master of Commerce (Mcom)
