We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our finance team in a leading garments manufacturing company. The role involves supporting the overall financial management, budgeting, reporting, and compliance functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and experience in the garments or manufacturing sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and reporting to management.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and identify variances with appropriate explanations.
• Monitor and analyze product costing, overhead allocation, and margins.
• Support pricing decisions by providing accurate cost data.
• Supervise and review accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely collection from customers and payment to vendors.
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage fund utilization efficiently.
• Coordinate with banks for transactions, loans, LC documentation, and other banking matters.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, income tax, customs, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
• Implement and maintain internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes and follow up on audit findings.
• Supervise junior finance staff and provide guidance and training.
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and other departments for accurate financial inputs.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ERP/accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or local systems).
• Participate in automation and system improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by senior management.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
• Concentration/Major: Accounting/Finance/Management

Professional Certifications:

• CA/CMA (1200 marks completed) will grate preference
