The Assistant Manager, Factory HR & Welfare plays a key role in ensuring effective human resource management and employee welfare at the LPG bottling plant. This position supports the implementation of HR policies, compliance with labor laws, employee engagement, and workplace safety. The role requires close coordination with factory leadership to foster a productive work environment while promoting employee well-being, discipline, and organizational culture in alignment with company values and regulatory requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in forecasting process of the manpower requirements and plan them accordingly
- Understand, follow and enforce all established policies, procedures and recognized practices
- Manage employee relation issues at the plant
- Manage Industrial relations to ensure smooth functioning of the organization in the most cost-competitive way
- Act as the Plant Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe and healthy working condition
- Encounter the people related audit survey at plant and resolve the audit issues
- Negotiate, implement and maintain the liaison with the third-party contractor regarding employee related issues
- Lead employee engagement program at plant
- Drive recruitment, selection and retention of Staffs as per the headcount budget
- Analyze training needs for the staffs, prepare periodic training schedule and arrange or conduct training programs
- Administer records and reports concerning personnel related data such as hires, turnover, employee programs, performance appraisals, salary increment, and absenteeism rates, for the staffs
- Provide required information related to joining, pay roll, separation of the plant officers
- Provide effective guidance and coaching to the staffs, relating to employee concerns, problems, and disciplinary action to comply with company policies in collaboration with legal & Compliance function
- Lead all the plant HR activities related to New Project Development
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Concentration/Major: HR/Strategic HR/Management/Administration.
