Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives across operations, monitor environmental and social compliance, collect and analyze sustainability data, prepare reports, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve the organization's ESG and sustainability goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Regularly monitor and assess environmental performance metrics related to resource consumption, emissions, and waste management.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Plan and conduct audits to assess compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to address findings from audits and inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental compliance and sustainability performance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, customers, and local communities, to foster transparency and collaboration on compliance and sustainability issues.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and initiatives related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
- Develop and conduct training programs on environmental compliance and sustainability practices for employees.
- Promote awareness and encourage active participation in sustainability initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Lead the implementation of sustainable practices throughout the organization's operations, including sourcing, manufacturing processes, packaging, and distribution.
- Recommend and oversee the adoption of eco-friendly technologies and practices to reduce environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits applicable to the organization's activities.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and timely.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
