A reputed sweater factory in the RMG sector is looking for a dedicated and responsible Welfare Officer to ensure workers’ welfare, maintain compliance with labor laws, and support a healthy and safe working environment. The role involves handling employee welfare issues, coordinating with management and workers, and assisting in maintaining social compliance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure workers’ welfare, health, and safety in the factory
2. Maintain compliance with labor laws, buyer codes of conduct, and factory policies
3. Handle workers’ grievances and support conflict resolution
4. Coordinate with management, workers, and external authorities when required
5. Monitor working conditions, leave, attendance, and overtime issues
6. Support implementation of safety, health, and social compliance programs
7. Assist during audits and inspections by buyers or regulatory bodies
8. Maintain welfare-related records and reports
9. Provide guidance and counseling to workers when necessary

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Concentration/Major: Bachelor or Masters in any discipline
