The Welfare / Sr. Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring employee welfare, maintaining positive industrial relations, and supporting compliance with labor laws and buyer requirements in a 100% export-oriented garments factory located in Gazipur. The role focuses on worker well-being, grievance handling, welfare activities, and effective communication between workers and management to ensure a safe, healthy, and productive workplace.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure implementation of worker welfare policies in line with Bangladesh Labor Law and buyer requirements.
2. Act as a bridge between workers and management to maintain positive industrial relations.
3. Handle worker grievances, complaints, and counseling in a fair and timely manner.
4. Monitor working conditions, canteen, medical, childcare, and other welfare facilities.
5. Support disciplinary actions and conflict resolution as per company policy and labor law.
6. Conduct worker awareness sessions on rights, safety, health, and factory rules.
7. Assist in compliance audits related to welfare and social standards.
8. Maintain welfare-related records, reports, and registers.
9. Coordinate with HR, compliance, and security teams to ensure a safe and harmonious workplace.
10. Support emergency response, accident reporting, and employee well-being initiatives.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Concentration/Major: Bachelors/ Masters in Any Discipline
