Job Description:

Meghna Pulp & Paper Mills Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sr. Officer/Officer, Logistics to manage and coordinate logistics and supply chain activities. The position will be responsible for ensuring smooth transportation, shipment coordination, inventory movement, and timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, transporters, and external stakeholders to maintain efficient logistics operations and support overall business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure pre-delivery inspection of vehicles to confirm roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  2. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and efficient loading of goods as per delivery schedules.
  3. Maintain a clean and well-organized ready area to support a safe and efficient working environment.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including issues, returns, discrepancies, and inventory-related information.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize delivery operations, minimize delays, and improve overall efficiency.
  6. Prepare and issue Delivery Loading Advice in coordination with warehouse and dispatch teams.
  7. Create and manage Delivery Callahan documentation to support smooth dispatch and routing processes.
  8. Demonstrate flexibility to work on variable schedules, including weekends or extended hours when required.
  9. Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all logistics and delivery activities.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)
  • Concentration/Major: Graduate/Masters in any discipline
