We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manager, Maintenance to oversee and ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and utility systems in our furniture manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and technical expertise in industrial maintenance. The role ensures smooth production by maintaining machinery, utilities, and factory infrastructure with minimum downtime

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipments. Ensure minimum breakdown and maximum machine uptime. Plan annual maintenance shutdown activities.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of furniture production machinery. Monitor performance of all working machines, compressors, generators, and electrical systems. Ensure proper calibration and safety of all equipment.
• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance checklist for all machines also maintenance logs, records, and service history.
• Quickly respond to machine breakdowns and minimize production loss. Analyze root causes of repeated failures and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components. Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of spare parts.
• Oversee factory utilities including power supply, air compressors, HVAC, and water systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards. Enforce workplace safety procedures for machinery operation and maintenance. Conduct regular safety inspections.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency and reduce maintenance cost. Implement modern maintenance practices (TPM, Lean Maintenance, etc.)
• Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, electricians, mechanics, and technicians. Assign daily maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion. Provide training and technical guidance to maintenance staff.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all maintenance activities (preventive & corrective).  Liaise with vendors and contractors for repair and servicing. Prepare maintenance reports and submit to management.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track costs, and oversee spare parts inventory. Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Concentration/Major: (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, indus
