Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Prevent stockouts and excess inventory by maintaining optimal stock levels, forecasting demand, and analyzing inventory data to ensure efficient stock management for production.
2. Analyse expenditure trends, monitor actual spending against forecasts, and optimize procurement, warehousing, and distribution costs to identify and implement savings opportunities.
3. Maintain and improve automated warehouse systems for efficient store operations, while ensuring the efficient handling of inventory.
4. Oversee the management of unusable GMTS/fabric/accessories, coordinating their disposal or reuse in accordance with company policies.
5. Plan and organize daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient material storage, inventory handling, and proper allocation of roles to staff.
6. Ensure all store operations comply with legal, health, safety, and environmental standards, and maintain accurate records for audits and internal reporting.
7. Develop training programs to enhance team skills and ensure staff are properly trained to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize operational efficiency within the warehouse and inventory management systems.
9. Work closely with Procurement, Production, Finance, and Commercial teams to align goals and ensure a smooth flow of materials through the supply chain.
10. Regularly report on inventory levels, stock movement, financial metrics, and key operational issues to senior management to provide updates and insights for decision-making.
11. Forecast material requirements, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely deliveries, aligning with procurement and production planning teams.
12. Ensure that materials meet required standards before being issued for production, conduct inspections, tests, and resolve challenges such as inventory shortages, material defects, and operational disruptions.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
• Concentration/Major: BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance or related field.
