Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly knitting production plans based on shipment priorities.
2. Allocate knitting orders according to machine gauge, diameter, machine capability, and production capacity.
3. Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, R&D, Yarn Store, Production, Dyeing, and Quality departments to ensure smooth order execution.
4. Monitor yarn availability and coordinate with the yarn store to avoid production interruptions.
5. Track knitting production progress and identify any delays or bottlenecks.
6. Revise production plans based on urgent orders, machine breakdowns, or material shortages.
7. Ensure optimum utilization of knitting machines and minimize idle machine hours.
8. Analyze machine loading and capacity planning to maximize efficiency and prepare knitting loading plans for different machine types and gauges.
9. Monitor order completion against plan and report daily production status.
10. Maintain WIP (Work-in-Progress) control and reduce excess inventory.
11. Prepare various MIS reports, production dashboards, and KPI reports.
12. Follow up on critical orders to ensure shipment commitments are achieved.
13. Coordinate with Maintenance regarding machine downtime affecting production planning.
14. Support cost optimization through improved planning and reduced waiting time.
15. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for planning accuracy and productivity.
16. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Concentration/Major: BSc in Textile Engineering or Related
