A reputed leading manufacturing company, with its Corporate Office located in Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka, is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven professional for the position of Senior Manager / Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM). The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, local procurement, import coordination, inventory and warehouse management, logistics, and cost optimization to ensure uninterrupted production and operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, procurement policies, and operational plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead local sourcing and procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, machinery, spare parts, and other industrial materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers; negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, spare parts, and other essential materials through effective demand forecasting and procurement planning.
• Oversee inventory control, stock reconciliation, warehouse operations, and optimum stock levels while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.
• Supervise inbound logistics, transportation, material movement, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, competitive negotiations, efficient inventory management, and effective budget control.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Commercial, Finance & Accounts, and Store Departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Ensure transparent procurement practices, compliance with company policies, proper documentation, and timely submission of procurement and supply chain MIS reports.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the SCM team, establish performance, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
• Concentration/Major: Bachelor`s / Master`s degrees in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/Engineering, or a relevant discipline

   • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
   • Proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel, ERP, and supply chain reporting.
   • Excellent leadership, communication, and interdepartmental coordination skills.
   • High level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset.
   • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
