We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual for the position of Asst./Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to strengthen our finance team. The role requires sound knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and internal control systems. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the overall financial operations of the company while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to statutory regulations. This is a mid-level leadership position offering opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and structured corporate environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
2. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control and efficiency.
3. Supervise daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
4. Ensure accuracy of accounts payable/receivable, supplier payments, and customer collections.
5. Assist in the preparation of factory costing sheets for knitwear production (T-shirts, hoodies, polos, etc.).
6. Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor departmental budgets.
7. Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT, TDS, and income tax returns in compliance with NBR regulations.
8. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies during audits and assessments.
9. Monitor daily cash flow, fund utilization, and banking transactions.
10. Coordinate with banks regarding LC (Letter of Credit), TT, and other trade finance instruments.
11. Coordinate with stores and production units to maintain proper control over inventory and asset capitalization.
12. Monitor consumption and cost efficiency of raw materials.
13. Generate regular MIS reports to support management in strategic and operational decisions.
14. Work closely with the IT/ERP (Tally) team to ensure financial data integrity and timely reporting.
15. Guide and supervise junior finance and accounts staff to ensure timely task execution.
16. Promote adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
17. Coordinate with factory managers and commercial teams for seamless financial documentation related to exports, production costs, and compliance.

Academic Qualifications:

• Master of Commerce (Mcom)
• Concentration/Major: Accounting/Finance/Management

Professional Certifications:

• CA CC preferable.
