Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Executive/Sr. Executive - HR & Compliance to join our dynamic team at a reputed garments manufacturing group. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring adherence to labor laws, compliance standards, and HR policies across the organization. This position requires hands-on experience in HR operations, compliance audits, and liaison with regulatory bodies to maintain a safe, ethical, and legally compliant work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, BLA 2006, and its amendments.
  • Prepare for and coordinate all buyer and third-party compliance audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord, Alliance, etc.).
  • Maintain and update all compliance-related documentation and certifications.
  • Monitor factory working conditions and ensure alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain employee personal files, attendance records, and leave management.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
  • Handle grievance management and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist in employee development initiatives.
  • Organize regular training programs on workplace safety, compliance awareness, and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development among employees.
  • Prepare periodic HR and compliance reports for management and buyers.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping related to audits, safety inspections, and employee matters.
  • Work closely with production, admin, and other departments to implement HR and compliance initiatives effectively.
  • Ensure proper implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
  • Participate in safety committees and conduct regular workplace inspections.

Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • Concentration/Major: Graduation in any discipline
