A reputed sweater factory in the RMG sector is looking for a skilled and responsible Fire Safety Officer to ensure fire prevention, preparedness, and compliance with fire safety regulations. The role involves maintaining fire safety systems, conducting drills and training, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with fire safety laws, BNBC, and buyer requirements
2. Maintain and monitor fire detection, alarm, and firefighting systems
3. Conduct regular fire drills and fire safety training for employees
4. Identify fire hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented
5. Inspect emergency exits, stairways, and evacuation routes
6. Coordinate with local fire service and relevant authorities
7. Prepare and maintain fire safety documents, records, and reports
8. Assist during fire safety audits and inspections
9. Ensure proper use and availability of firefighting equipment
10. Lead emergency response during fire or evacuation situations

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Concentration/Major: Bachelor or Masters in any discipline

Professional Certifications:

• FSCD Certified
