Job Description:

The Jr. Officer, Quality Control at Meghna Noodles and Biscuit Factory Ltd., a sister concern of Meghna Group of Industries, is responsible for supporting quality assurance processes in food production. The role involves monitoring raw materials and finished products, conducting routine quality tests, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and company guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct laboratory testing of product samples including pH, Moisture %, Bulk Density, Degree Brix, POV of Palm Oil, and other relevant quality parameters as per standard procedures.
  2. Ensure proper monitoring and control of critical production processes such as frying, baking, and proofing to maintain product quality and consistency.
  3. Identify and place on hold any incoming raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), or finished goods that do not meet the required quality specifications.
  4. Inspect, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results; report any non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to the QC Manager/Head of QC in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor and enforce GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and other food safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing facility.
  6. Inform, advise, and update management regarding all quality-related issues and ensure proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  7. Review, interpret, verify, and summarize quality data collected from different departments and report any deficiencies to the QC Manager/Head of QC promptly.
  8. Collect and analyze samples according to Quality Control procedures at specified frequencies, ensuring all results are within acceptable ranges and properly recorded on time.
  9. Prepare relevant quality reports and conduct regular internal inspections of the plant to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational requirements.
  10. Analyze market complaints related to products, identify root causes, and recommend corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  11. Perform assigned responsibilities during both day and night shifts as per operational requirements.
