ZAS Apparels (PVT.) Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive professional for the position of Manager – Merchandising & Marketing (Woven Factory). The role involves overseeing end-to-end merchandising operations, coordinating with international buyers, ensuring timely order execution, and driving marketing initiatives to expand business opportunities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining client relationships, cost negotiation, and aligning production with buyer requirements to achieve organizational growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The responsibilities of a marketing manager in the textile and apparel industry can vary depending on the specific company and the products they offer.
- Capable of preparing costing sheets and pricing of knit garments.
- Acquiring new customers and maintaining the existing client base.
- Takers responsibility for Business development in New Markets & Must have direct buyers.
- Sales forecasting, Market analysis, and searching new markets & buyers to boost up business.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the global market.
- Marketing planning, market segmentation, targeting buyers, buyer portfolio research & approach planning.
- Establish a long-range plan on capacity and business growth to leverage low cost and improve on-time delivery.
- Costing, cost analysis, price negotiation, and arranging the buying meeting with buyers.
- Demonstrate strong tactical negotiation skills with buyers.
- Product development, Trend analysis, Fashion forecasting, and sustainable Material sourcing according to the buyer and company requirements.
- Smooth production process follow-up, right time delivery and make sure of quality.
- Manage the product merchandising process, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Manage On-Time Customer delivery by engaging in factory capacity reviews, fabric, and trim commitments within established calendar timelines.
- Develop strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and production units to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Deliver quality products aligned with brand standards and maximize sales, gross margin, and net profit potential.
- Ensure the team provided business and buyers’ clarity through cost analysis and risk-assessment tools that measure profitability.
- Define and implement an efficient, cost-effective sourcing process.
- Improve the department’s gross profit through effective fabric sourcing, sharp cost negotiation,offering cost-cutting solutions, improving on-time delivery, and ensuring the quality of products.
