KDS Logistics Ltd., the logistics wing of KDS Group, situated in Chittagong; has been leading the ICD/OFF DOCK industry since a long time with the best-in-class services to its clients. We are looking for young, energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and proactive person to perform the role of a Sr. Engineer / Engineer for “Electrical Department” under “Administration”. The incumbent will have to play the role in the dynamic ICD/OFF Dock Industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Making schedules, assigning work, and providing training to electricians.
2. Motivating electricians to increase productivity and achieve work goals.
3. Ensuring proper maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
4. Assisting with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repair as required.
5. Performing administrative duties, including purchasing supplies, maintaining inventory, planning budgets, preparing cost estimates, and preparing month-wise electrical cost reports.
6. Maintaining detailed records of all activities and monitoring plant operating equipment.
7. Updating maintenance reports, including preventive and ongoing maintenance activities.
8. Updating and maintaining electrical documents and records.
9. Handling electrical load requirements and ensuring proper load distribution.
10. Coordinating with electrical contractors for electrification, execution, and erection works.
11. Providing complete electrical solutions as per operational requirements.
12. Maintaining the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
13. Organizing and attending weekly meetings with technicians and other associated staff to review electrical and fire safety maintenance operations.
14. Checking weekly maintenance and operational reports.
15. Assist in preparing electricity bills and related cost reports.
16. Basic knowledge of fire safety requirements, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures.
17. Ensuring electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with fire safety standards to minimize electrical fire risks.
18. Identifying potential electrical fire hazards, such as overloaded circuits, damaged cables, loose connections, and faulty equipment, and taking corrective action.
19. Coordinating with the concerned Fire Safety team regarding electrical fire hazards, emergency systems, and fire safety-related maintenance requirements.
20. Assist in periodic inspection and maintenance of electrical fire safety systems, such as emergency lighting, exit signs, and fire alarm-related electrical components.
21. Performing any other tasks as assigned by Management.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Concentration/Major: BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Or Related

5. Additional Requirements:
   • Good knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution

   • Experience in working on Solar System
   • Experience in Fire Safety Management in Warehouse, Off Dock/ ICD will be an added advantage.
